The
“Youngsters” are able to survive in
pots for years and will wait for space before
they grow bigger. When they are adopted and planted
into the earth they are nicknamed the “Yuppies”
(Young Upwardly-Mobile Plants).
Sadly, Craig and Dylan (pictured here) were “avo-napped”
– stolen from their new home in Randburg.
They
were being tended by the staff of “My Lunch”
on Bram Fischer road (near St. Stithians School).
One morning they were gone. All we can hope is
that they have found a beautiful caring new home
and that they will reward their well-meaning owners
with some delicious and nutritious avocado berries!
